Richie, a black smoky Maine coon cat, has nearly 100,000 followers on Instagram in just a few days of setting up an account, all thanks to his distinctive coat.
Richie is really special when the animal possesses a fur that makes everyone think it seems to be wearing an extra fur coat over it.
Richie was born in November 2020 and it didn’t take long to become famous due to its owner sharing photos and videos on social networks.
Talking about the family’s pet cat, owner Richie said: “Before Richie, we had 2 other cats for 20 years. Near my house there was a French breeder and he was very confident. So we ordered a cat with a smoky gray coat. However, Richie still has a truly unique look.”
In terms of personality, Richie is a sociable and curious cat who loves to play with other cats: “He likes company and tends to follow us around the house. We call him chef because when we are cooking, he sat next to the spices and watched our every move.”
